one of the things that I did was there are two little girls (like 1 year old) at my church, and during the service they always cry so, there parents always miss the service and cant stay and hear the service, so I kind of baby sat them at the church while the service was going on and i watch them so that there parents could hear the service.
Well as we all know my Big Brother got into a motercicle acident, so i payed it forward to him by helping him get around and be comfortable in his room. I brought him food on the 1st and 2nd day that he was home (when i could and when i wan't at school) because he couldn't get up and walk around very well.
One night my mom (who cooks everything) was feeling "under the weather" and didn't feel up to cooking an entire meal for us family. So i pitched in and cook, Bread, i helped her make the soup, and/ or pigs in a blanket (<== those are this little sausages in dough)

feature cast from the past
Project Purpose:
To understand the difference between Cause/Effect Relationships and Correlations. To understand how and why major events in history are connected and intertwined (think yarn activity!). To research a major event from U.S. history in order to understand why it is significant and how it relates to other major events. To understand features of a feature article and podcast and to be able to create a feature article or podcast about your major event in history.
Project Requirements:
To present the 5Ws of your major event to the class. To write/peer edit/revise a feature article or podcast. To have at least three drafts in your Writing Portfolio. To present a polished version of your feature article or podcast on Media Night, as well as posting it online to our Team Featurecast from the Past web page (made by James).
Specific Concepts Learned:
Include at least two concepts. Be specific about the information/research/differences between correlations and cause/effect relationships that you learned. You should be able to explain the significance of your event (include specific facts) or give an example of a correlation and a cause/effect relationship between your event and another significant event.
Challenges:
What challenges did you face throughout this project? How did you overcome these challenges?
Real-World Significance:
What is the real-world significance of learning major events in history and how they are related? What is the real-world significance of research or creating feature articles/podcasts?
Specific Concepts Learned:
- I learned how to find really and good info. What you have to do is go to 3 or 4 different web sites or books or what ever your looking at then you have to find which one has the most of the same thing and narrow it down to that then you have real info.
- I also learned a lot about the Rocket ship, Apollo 11, and how it works and that it takes 2,000 pounds of thrust to excape earths atmospheres
My main challenge was finding the correct and right info about my subject. I had trouble finding good sources that had real info that i could use. So i read magazines. Also i talked to Miss. Staff and she told me about sites and gave me articles to read.
The Real World Significance:
Going to the moon accomplished J.F.K.'s dream, and it also helped to get us into a new more techie stage of life.

Querencia Clipboards

BEST FRIENDS LISTEN TO WHAT YOU DON'T SAY...
My Querencia is about my best friends, because i love them all to death! Most of my best friends go to my school like Bella, Claire Anne, Jaqui, MoMo, An Angela. When i'm with them i feel safe andsecure, like nothing could ever hurt me; they make me strong. They make the best come out of me and always expect my best. I know that they could never desert me or leave me they will alwyas be by my side and help me. My friendship with them is like waking up in the middle of a thunderstorm, but you're inside your warm bed; you know your safe but you still feel the power all around you. You can't help but be al little afraid even when you know that nothing can hurt you, and that is the way my friends make me feel.
My best friends know everything about me, from my head to my toes. I've told them EVERYTHING about me, no matter what it is. I can trust them with my biggest secret to my most embarrassing moment and i can have faith that they won't tell anyone, not a soul.
My Best friends are with me through thick and thin. They know all my mistakes and my problems but they still love me and put up wiht me no matter what!
